Great Little Minds Academy is a dual language (English/Spanish) childcare and learning center where young minds are motivated to excel academically, emotionally, and socially. Ours is a free and nurturing environment with open opportunities and experiences for precious young minds to bloom their interests and passions. We believe that although children should be allowed to learn at their own pace –reaching for the stars does not have to be challenging–, every student has the ability to advance academically and progressively show observable and quantitative growth when proper teaching techniques and assessment tools are put into practice.
In order to achieve this goal, Great Little Minds Academy offers a safe, loving and encouraging environment in which students can holistically advance and become emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually mature. We wish to be a positive influence in our students’ lives and help them formulate and achieve realistic but challenging personal and academic goals. Our main objective as an early childhood center is to present the students with lesson plans specially designed to make it all possible while providing care and a dual language academic education.
We foster your child’s strengths and closely work with them to develop essential skills in preparation for the future, while learning a second language at the same time. Our Philosophy
A primary goal at Great Little Minds Academy is for children to feel loved and at home. We believe that a learning environment, which fosters respect for cultural diversity and utilizes a diverse approach to education, allows for optimal growth and development of young children. Young children’s developmental tasks are to build trust, learn social skills, begin mastery of academic skills and develop positive self-esteem. In order to best support these tasks, Great Little Minds Academy strives to provide developmentally appropriate activities, well-trained and consistent bilingual staff, a safe and healthy learning environment, and continuity of care.
